中でもタイ料理はかなり好き。そんな私ですが、毎回タイに行くとタイ人にびっくりされることがあります。

香りづけに入っている大きい唐辛子をタイ人は基本残しますが、日本人はお皿に載っているものを全部食べる習性があるので、食べなくて良い唐辛子を全部食べた結果、タイ料理を相当辛く感じているのではないかと思います。
This kind of chili is added to give more scent of Thai food. Thai would leave it while Japanese would eat everything in the dish. I think that is why Japanese think Thai food is spicy.
